Common Rail Materials
Ordinary Carbon Steel Rail (Carbon Steel Rail).
U71Mn (China Standard): high manganese content, used for heavy railroad.
ASTM A1 (American Standard): medium carbon steel, general purpose.
Alloy Steel Rail: UIC 60E1 (European Standard).
UIC 60E1 (European Standard): Containing Cr and V, high wear resistance.
EN 13674-1 900A: For high speed railroad.
Weathering Steel Rail.
COR-TEN: Resistant to atmospheric corrosion, suitable for humid environments.

Process Flow (Manufacturing Process)
(1) Main production steps
Steelmaking.
Basic Oxygen Furnace (BOF) or Electric Arc Furnace (EAF).
Composition control: Addition of alloying elements (e.g. Mn, Cr) to improve hardness and wear resistance.
Rolling.
Hot Rolling: Billets are heated to 1200°C and rolled into rail form.
Universal Mill: Precise control of the dimensions of the rail head, rail waist and rail bottom.
Heat Treatment.
Online Quenching: Increase the surface hardness of the rail head (e.g. UIC 60E1 quenched rail).
Slow Cooling: Reduces internal stresses and prevents cracking.
Straightening & Machining.
Hydraulic Straightening: Ensure straightness error ≤1mm/m.
Drilling of end holes: for fixing of rail connection bolts.
Testing.
Ultrasonic Testing (UT): to detect internal defects.
Hardness Test: The hardness of rail head should reach 260-300 HB.

(1) Railway Transportation
High-Speed Rail (high-speed railroad): such as China's CRTS III ballast rail with 60kg/m rail.
Heavy Haul Railway (Heavy Haul Railway): such as the Daqin Railway using U75V rails.
(2) Industry
Mining Tracks (mine track): 50kg/m rail is used for mine car transportation.
Crane Runways: QU120 rails are used for harbor gantry cranes.
(3) Urban Transportation (Urban Transit)
Metro Tracks: EN 13674-1 900A, low noise design.
Tramway Systems: Grooved Rail embedded in the road surface.
Key selection parameters
Axle Load: Heavy load lines require higher strength materials (e.g. UIC 60E1).
Curve Radius: Wear-resistant rails (e.g. heat-treated rails) are required for small radius curves.
Environmental corrosion: Coastal areas are recommended to weather-resistant rails (such as COR-TEN).

           We have our own machining centre and large diameter pipe factory, we can provide you with the factory photos and production line videos you want, and                you are always welcome to visit our factory.

           We can meet customers' international product certification, such as: GB, EN, JIS, Australian Standard and so on.
            The factories under our company have met the ISO certification, ROHS and other certifications.

        4. What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ)? Is it in stock? How long is the lead time?
            MOQ and lead time will depend on specific products. We mainly deal in stock and can deliver in 2-3 days. However, for special requirements, customisation               is required and lead time is needed.
